Update on End Exclusion
The hosts of End Exclusion are pleased to announce that the venue for End Exclusion 2007 has been changed to the Westin Hotel in Ottawa, Ontario. The event, being held on November 22, 2007 will be better able to accommodate the large number of participants. For details on the event and how to register please visit www.endexclusion.ca.
The focus of this year’s event is on moving from vision to action. More than 3000 Canadians signed the Declaration for an Inclusive and Accessible Canada last year. This year we have posted a Draft National Action Plan that lays out a plan for realizing an inclusive and accessible Canada. Comments on the Draft National Action Plan will continue to be accepted until Friday October 26, 2007. Revisions will be made to the Action Plan based on the comments received. The final National Action Plan will be posted to the website on November 1, 2007 for endorsement by Canadians. Visit the site on November 1, 2007 and sign on to support the National Action Plan!
